Meet The Point Residents – The Thorntons

Already interested in moving to the Bellarine Peninsula, all it took for Sally and Mark was seeking a land-for-sale sign for The Point whilst boarding their ferry home to Melbourne. Two days later, they bought a 488 sqm block of land and are now looking forward to starting construction on their new home.

“We’re currently living in Melbourne’s southern suburbs but often travel across the bay to visit close friends,” said Sally. “We love this area and thought we might as well move here, sooner rather than later.”

The Thornton family got to visit their purchased lot during the recent VIP Site Tour event held in May 2019. New residents were given a private tour of the estate by manager Nick Grace and got a behind the scenes look at the latest developments and infrastructure at The Point.
“We used to drop by and look through the fence to see if we could spot our land lot, so it was really exciting to finally get access and explore what will be our new community,” said Sally.

“It was great to see our house will be just three blocks away from the waterfront – I’m sure our dog Ruby will really enjoy that!”
