The Point community planting day in full bloom

Residents of The Point and local community members gathered on Sunday 8 September, to celebrate the arrival of Spring at The Point’s annual community planting day.

Under guidance from the Bellarine Catchment Network, over 40 volunteers worked together to plant more than 400 new seedlings within the existing vegetation area on the edge of the waterway opposite Cowry Way.

Once all the hard work was complete, attendees relaxed in the community picnic area and enjoyed a complimentary barbeque and coffee.

Moremac Property Group and the Bellarine Catchment Network would like to thank all the volunteers who attended the event and contributed their time and efforts to the local environment.
